Nearby the city of Asenovgrad there are a few places suitable for climbing. One of these is the area of Brianovshtitsa, where a stone formation of around 100 m. offers great fun and exercise. Another place is a small rock around 25 m. heigh, which is on the bank of a small river, only 5 km. away from Asenovgrad in direction to Pamporovo. A few other places are known and become more and more popular in the area.
